About The Milton Art Center

The arts are EssentialFundamentalImportantVitalIntegralfor people who value a meaningful life.

The arts bring people together regardless of ethnicity, religion or age.

The Milton Art Center (MAC) is a nonprofit community center offering art education and events for all ages. Our 501 (c) 3 arts organization has been in operation since 2012, located in East Milton Square, Milton, MA.

In addition to art classes, our organization showcases local emerging and established artists, artisans, musicians, comedians and authors in our gallery meeting space.

Our mission statement: “to educate, encourage and empower all to recognize the value art brings to our lives.”

The Milton Art Center is funded through the profits of our programs and donations.

We consider our local community arts organization offering access to continuing arts education and opportunities for meeting people with shared interests as a benefit to our town, equivalent to a park or green space, for its capacity to improve our mental health and enhance satisfaction with our quality of life.

Our latest reviews:

"My daughter was in the 4-5 year old class and I was impressed with the degree of sophistication and materials of the projects she told us about. It seems as though the teachers really taught art lessons and craftsmanship to build lifelong skills, beyond just completing an activity."

"We loved it! My daughter tends to be shy and nervous in new settings and with unfamiliar adults, but one day at camp and she was immediately at ease. I appreciated seeing the teachers surrounded by high school aged helpers who were all very enthusiastic and kind. This was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back."

"What a great class! The instructor really understands kids and the creative process and has a great balance between instruction and creative license."

What did you love about the class?
"Everything! Henry loved painting, making play doh, and learning about new artists. He couldn't wait to go each day!"

"My daughter loved it so much- she loved the instructor and content. She is looking forward to more classes"

What did you love about the class?
"She loves the activity, the way it was structured and the amount of independence allowed to let each child make it their own. Awesome!"

"My daughter loved the class. She had so much fun painting, building fairy doors and fairy dolls. She had a great time at the camp and would definitely want to go back for more. She is always the first one there because she just can’t wait for the class to start. I’m glad she had a wonderful time and enjoyed every second of camp."

"My daughter enjoyed the program very much. The teachers were friendly and attentive. The fairy class was super cute and the assignment of creating a fairy world was icing on the cake for my daughter. Definitely recommended."

"My grandsons enjoyed every class. The teachers and their aides were amazing - fun, patient, energetic even in the heat & humidity, knowledgeable, and kind. This is a very well-run program."

"My son had a fabulous time at the Milton Art Center (MAC) summer camp. He was challenged by the team to produce items from recyclables and he loved using his imagination to produce something unique. I highly recommend the MAC."
