Michaela Borg

Michaela Borg is a certified K-12 art teacher and mixed media artist from Rochester, New York. She graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 2018 with degrees in Art Education, Fine & Performing Arts, a minor in Art History. Michaela has worked in both classroom and studio settings for the past three years, leading students in arts exploration.

Michaela is an artist and believer in community based, educational arts programming that engages students minds and bodies. Her teaching philosophy is that every student brings their own unique value to the classroom community. Michaela hopes to help new artists discover their values, and express their thoughts through visual art.

Mairead Dambruch

Mairead Clifford Dambruch is a painter and a weaver. She is a teacher of art to all ages and has taught at the Milton Art Center since 2018. Her work is informed by research in the fields of cultural textiles, anthropology, folktale and the sustainable and ethical practices of herbalism and farming. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2020 at the School of Art of Carnegie Mellon University.

Mairead’s classes put an emphasis on imagination. The environment of the classroom encourages creative questioning, self-led tactile learning and fosters a collaborative space to talk, imagine and make friends. Students are taught varied art making styles and processes from around the world and leave class learning about the cultures they originate from. She loves classes involving painting, cute mini things, fairies, plants, stories and colorful magical projects.

Camille DeMarco

Camille DeMarco is a painter, printmaker and mixed media artist. She specializes in botanical and nature watercolors and prints. Her installations often reflect how our natural world is affected by humans. Camille enjoys connecting with Milton’s artist community through the Milton Art Center and is proud to be a part of one of the town’s historic institutions. In addition to her Milton Art Center classes, she has taught watercolor painting to the members of the Council on Aging in Milton. Prior to joining the Milton Art Center she was the Creative Director at The Winsor School for over twelve years. She studied painting and art education at The Massachusetts College of Art and Design where she earned a BFA in Painting and Art Education. Camille is a TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) teacher, and she will complete her TAB training this summer at The Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She firmly believes that the child is the artist and they should have a studio space to play, explore, and create.

Sue Hoy is a Milton artist who has been teaching children and adults for over 15 years. Mainly working with paint and clay, Sue encourages artists of all ages to experiment, play with the materials and explore ideas through learned skills. She loves the tactile nature of clay which enables students to create in 3 dimensions, stretch their imagination and develop problem solving skills. While painting allows for endless color exploration, idea development and spontaneity, Sue believes that all art making helps one think outside the box and boost self-esteem.

Sue has a BFA in Visual Design. She worked as a graphic designer for many years before shifting to painting, ceramics and teaching. She has been involved in numerous public art projects including murals, school collaborations and painted sculpture. Embracing the spirit of play and trusting the process helps Sue keep her own paintings loose and her brushwork fresh.

Marjorie Saintil-Belizaire

Marjorie Saintil-Belizaire is a bilingual Haitian-American multimedia artist based in the greater Boston area. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from UMASS/Amherst and later attended Boston University's Arts Administration program, where she received a Master of Science degree. A long-time teaching artist, Marjorie has taught numerous art mediums to a broad range of ages in community centers as well as prominent art establishments and loves to share her passion and knowledge with her students. Marjorie is also the recipient of multiple awards and honors, including the Creative Age Program, CreateWell Fellowship, and the City of Boston Artist-In-Residence. She has numerous professional affiliations, including the Mattapan Cultural Arts Development and the Mattapan Arts Council. Marjorie resides in Boston with her husband and three children and currently teaches for the Massachusetts Charter Public Schools, Milton Art Center and the Mattahunt Community Center

Paula Stapleton

Paula Stapleton is a certified K-12 Visual Art teacher and a freelance artist. She is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where she earned her B.F.A., majoring in photography and minoring in illustration. Paula then attended and earned her M.Ed. at Boston College School of Education. She has also attended The Art Institute of Boston and other colleges/universities over the course of her career enabling her to add to her master’s degree. Paula has been teaching K-12 Visual Art for the past 22+ years after teaching in an elementary classroom setting. Her freelance experience includes photography, illustration and painting.
