A Playful Introduction to Art for Ages 4-6

For young children, art is a natural way to explore the world through play, imagination, and hands-on discovery. Our Ages 4–6 summer program offers a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to create.

Camp is led by professional teaching artists and caring assistants. With an intentionally small group size and a 1:3 staff-to-camper ratio, each child receives individual attention and gentle guidance. Activities are thoughtfully paced, allowing children to explore materials, make choices, and build confidence at their own speed.

Through playful art-making, storytelling, and imaginative projects, campers build creativity, problem-solving skills, and social confidence. There is no “right” or “wrong” in our studio, every child’s ideas are valued.

Days follow a rhythm of creative time, movement, and outdoor art making under shaded tents when weather allows. Each child also receives a camp t-shirt, and an art journal, helping children to capture their ideas and gain confidence in their creative thinking.

This program is ideal for children who are new to camp and thrive in a calm, supportive setting where they are truly known.
